Stolen Property Recovered 4 Arrested

During the investigation of recent burglaries, thefts and prowling calls, detectives with Ripon’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) developed information that lead them to focus on a person of interest in multiple criminal cases. SIU Detectives with the assistance of the patrol team conducted a search for a wanted parolee along with probation and parole searches on a residence in the 100 block of Second Street in Ripon.

During the investigation suspected crystal methamphetamine, stolen property, and narcotics paraphernalia were located at the residence. A unique stolen bicycle was discovered at the residence in a suspect’s bedroom. The stolen bicycle report had been made to the police department only 30 minutes before it was recovered.

Richard Christian Deathriage (37) of Ripon was taken into custody and booked into the San Joaquin County jail on charges that included: Possession of controlled substance for sales, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and parole violations.

Joseph Scott Deathriage (28) of Ripon was taken into custody and booked into the San Joaquin County jail on charges that included: A Stockton Police Department misdemeanor warrant, possession of stolen property, possession of property with an altered or removed serial number and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

Jonathan Tyler Deathriage (30) of Ripon was taken into custody and booked into the San Joaquin County jail on charges that included: Burglary and vandalism.

Tiffany Anne Barrickman (33) of Ripon was taken into custody, cited and released on a Tuolumne County Superior Court misdemeanor warrant.
