LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING
The Ripon Police Department provides LiveScan fingerprinting service to the public. Before you can be fingerprinted, you must provide the following required materials:
The Ripon Police Department charges a fee of $20.00. This fee pays for the fingerprinting services provided by the Ripon Police Department. If the form given to you by the employer/licensing board/organization has a completed Billing Number listed on the form, only the $20.00 fee will be due. If the form does not have a valid billing number, you will be responsible for the fees, which can vary widely based upon the level of service requested, (DOJ, FBI, or CHILD as indicated on the form) and the AORI assigned to the requesting employer/licensing board/organization. You can find a list of the Department of Justice’s fees here.
Acceptable forms of Payment
Acceptable forms of payment include Cash, Money Order, or Cashiers Check ONLY (make checks payable to “City of Ripon.”) No personal checks will be accepted.
LiveScan service will not be offered on Labor Day (Monday, May 2nd, 2013).
Due to reductions in staffing levels, this department is offering walk-in livescan service on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9am to noon, and Tuesdays and Thursdays 1pm – 4pm. We will continue to offer appointment-based services as frequently as staffing allows. Please submit your requests to gro.nopirfoyticnull@nacsevil
