Your Neighborhood Patrol

In support of the Department's philosophy of Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS), the City has been split into four geographical areas. Each area is the responsibility of a Patrol Sergeant.

Police officers are assigned to a Sergeant and their "Area of Responsibility." This provides a "team" concept in our efforts to work with the community and to ensure that problems are properly identified and resolved.

Monthly Community Meetings for 2012

The Ripon Police Department will be hosting meetings to discuss concerns or issues that may be occurring within your neighborhood and in your patrol area. The goal is to improve communications between our residents and the officers who patrol your neighborhoods. Officers will also be providing safety tips that may be unique to your specific area.

The meetings will be organized and facilitated by the Sergeant who is responsible for your specific area, and will also be attended by the officers responsible for your area.
