Don began his career with the
Ripon Police Department as a Patrol Officer in 1994. He served as a
Field Training Officer/Corporal with the department from 1996 to 2003.
Don was promoted to Sergeant in August of 2003. Don is currently
assigned to the night watch as a Patrol Sergeant. Don is one of the
department's Gang Officers, and he is the department's only Hazardous
Materials Technician. His off-duty interests include collecting World
War II militaria, the restoration of World War II military vehicles, and
collecting G.I. Joe's.
