Judging Information
Professional judging will take place in the restored and novelty categories. All other awards will be based upon participant voting, so it is important that you turn in your ballot for your choice by noon..
Professionals who are familiar with vehicle restoration and emergency vehicles of all types will conduct judging in the restored and novelty classes. These judges may also be members of the volunteer show staff, and vehicle entry participants. They are restricted from entering vehicles in the class they are judging (specific years), but may enter a vehicle in any of the other classes. Staff reserves the right to place vehicles in the appropriate class. Police package vehicles prior to 1960 may not be able to be confirmed, and therefore could be placed in the novelty or restored vehicle classes. These two classes will be judged between 09:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Please do not disturb the judges during these times. You may wish to be near your vehicle during the judging times should they have a question. Open hoods and trunks are optional. No points will be deducted if they’re closed, but you may earn additional points if these areas are open. Judges decisions are final.
