The show is a non-profit fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the: Ripon Volunteers in Police (V.I.P.S.), Menlo Park Police Cadets, Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), and the California Highway Patrol Museum.

During the show there will be a parade consisting of the vehicles legally equipped with emergency equipment.  The Ripon Police will coordinate this.  This will be limited to the antique restored marked emergency vehicles, and any vehicle owned by a public agency.

The show offers cool grass for vehicle display, with a badge and patch show held inside.

On Friday night, prior to the show on Saturday, there will be a controlled cruise for the participating show vehicles to a local restaurant in Ripon for dinner.  We will depart the Community Center at approximately 6 p.m.  Please advise in advance if you planning on participating.

This show is open to any current or restored emergency or military vehicle, including police, fire, military, and ambulances.  Due to size constraints, military vehicles need to be classic restored (not current) and medium size or smaller.  Vehicle classes and information is listed on the following pages. Ex-police vehicles used as “daily drivers” are welcome.  You may bring as many vehicles as you like.  Thank you for supporting this worthwhile non-profit event.

Show Staff - This is the 18th year for our show. Everyone that helps put this together volunteers his/her time. We wish to thank the City of Ripon for allowing us to utilize this excellent location annually. Please support our staff and parking assistants by following their direction during the show.

Judging Information

Professional judging will take place in the restored and novelty categories. All other awards will be based upon participant voting, so it is important that you turn in your ballot for your choice by noon..

Professionals who are familiar with vehicle restoration and emergency vehicles of all types will conduct judging in the restored and novelty classes. These judges may also be members of the volunteer show staff, and vehicle entry participants. They are restricted from entering vehicles in the class they are judging (specific years), but may enter a vehicle in any of the other classes. Staff reserves the right to place vehicles in the appropriate class. Police package vehicles prior to 1960 may not be able to be confirmed, and therefore could be placed in the novelty or restored vehicle classes.  Judges decisions are final.
